The work is derived from the larger work The sound of white, even shown at the LWAG in 2018 for the Here and Now exhibition. It consists of 120 spinning vinyl records painted with varying geometric patterns in white enamel.
Duet #12 (Whispers of White) consists of two painted vinyl records spinning side by side. Inspired by Marcel Duchamp’s Roto-reliefs they explore the possibility of depicting spatial depth on a two-dimensional surface through rotation.
